Some may say mathematics is the way of life, and without this it, key concepts could not be unlocked.

For example, mathematics was used in making the cars that individuals drive around, the phone you use, the clothes you wear, and many more things.
Mathematics can be broken down into many topics such as: Calculus, Topology, Combinatorics, Differential Equations, Operations Research, and even Numerical Analysis.

The topics within mathematics can be categorized as Pure Mathematics, also known as Theoretical Mathematics, or Applied Mathematics.

Even though Pure and Applied Mathematics seem to both mean the same thing, if one was to look deeper into the aspects of each they will find that they are in fact different in many various ways.
